Anyone who knows anything about military life knows that you have to move from time to time to different bases.
Well, my husband is up for orders this summer. So far we have heard several things as to whether we are moving or not. I really wish that they would make up their minds. If we move, we are only 4 months out from where we would have to be out of our house, having it ready to sell or rent. I really don't want to get the ball rolling on one of those to find out we aren't going anywhere. And, at the same time, I don't want to wait for them to make up their minds, because at this rate it will be last minute and then I won't have time to get the things done that I need to do.
It is very frustrating. I don't even want to mention it to my kids until I know a definite one way or the other. They don't want to move anymore than my husband & I do. So, telling them would just upset them, because they won't hear the part that nothing is set in stone right now. What child ever hears all the information when you are telling them something potentially upsetting? I just wish that our original plans had not gotten cancelled by my husband's command. It would have made things a lot less stressful.
