Does this image look familiar? It does at my house. It has been that time of year for almost a month now. We are trying to sort through our seasonal and non-seasonal clothes. Determining what still fits people, what needs to be replaced, what needs to be stored, and what can get put away. I have just put it off. I really hate sorting through clothes. I also hate to have a messy house even more. So little over a week ago, I purposely decided to pile everything in one area that I would have to walk by regularly. It has been nagging me since. I know I need to get it done. If I don't get it done soon, no one will have any clothes to wear. So, can you guess what I will be working on today?
That's right. It has nagged at me long enough, and I have made enough excuses for what was more important to get done! I am going to go crazy if it is not finished today. I can finish the garage tomorrow, so that I can put the car in it for the season. I can finish the floral that I am making for my sister's November wedding this weekend. I can even finish clearing the office desk (another task I am not fond of) at a later date. It is 21 degrees outside, and getting colder by the day. It just has to happen. I cannot and will not allow my kids to go to school in summer clothes anymore, even though they are begging me to leave some of their favorites out. Sorry guys! It isn't going to happen. I dressed in summer clothes under snow pants before. It does not keep you warm enough, especially in the negative degree weather that will be hitting us soon enough!
Enough stalling! I am off to tackle the mountain! Wish me luck!
